In 2012, I started Emily's Homestead after struggling to find natural solutions for eczema and sensitive skin. One of the best initial steps to take for any skin issues is to move away from detergent and chemical-based soaps. In order to create my own skin-loving formulas, I began learning the art of soap making, which eventually became a passion. All of our other product lines have followed suit over the years. Our main focus is on creating high-quality skincare products with real ingredients and no chemicals or fillers. We offer large 6+oz bars that are long-lasting, provide great lathering, and feel amazing on your skin. We love what we do because our goal is to help others feel great by creating soaps and bath and body products that soothe, nurture, and promote healthy skin. Our soaps do not contain sulphates or other detergents. We pride ourselves on using as many whole ingredients as possible, including olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, essential oils, oats, poppyseeds, and more. The store offers triple sets of 3 bars per box, as well as single 6oz bars. Our Peppermint Oatmeal Bar Soap is known for its refreshing, stimulating, and soothing qualities, while our Cucumber Oak Bar Soap is a cult classic with a fresh and clean masculine scent. Our Woodland Walk Bar Soap is a great unisex blend with a clean and invigorating scent. Our Walk Through Mountain Forests bar features an intriguing blend of fir, pine, clove, grapefruit, and pineapple scents, while our natural, cold-process soaps are moisturizing and gently cleanse the skin without stripping away its protective oils. We only use real ingredients that you can recognize, and our soaps are handcrafted in small batches using the cold process method right here in the Rocky Mountains to ensure quality and freshness. To extend the life of your soap, always store it on a well-draining soap dish and keep it out of direct water spray.
